We are delighted that you have visited one of the largest and most active of Branches in the IWFS world. The Marin Branch is in its 33 year and proudly moves forward carrying on the ideals of IWFS founder André Simon, and our branch founders Haskell and Rachel Norman. We conduct one to two events per month featuring outstanding vintages of wines from around the world. Our objectives are primarily educational, with an intellectual pursuit to a better understanding of fine wines and extraordinary cuisine enjoyed in the tradtional grand dinning experiance. In order to insure high standards our events are typically limited to 24 persons. We hope you will join us at an upcoming event, and consider becoming a member of the oldest and most reonowned gourmet society in the world!

October 18, 2009 -- Luce Wine Restaurant, InterContinental Hotel San Francisco: Featuring French Chef Dominique Crenn. Special Guest, John Avery, MW, Honorary World President, International Wine & Food Society and former Chairman of the Masters of Wine Institute, London.
October 31 - November 7, 2009 -- "Tartufi Binachi" White Truffle Adventure, Alba, Italy: A Celebration of the White Truffle (Tartufi Bianchi). Our annual week long adventure in Alba, Italy featuring winery and culinary production tours, luncheons and nightly truffle dinners -- the ultimate culinary experiance in Italy -- Sold Out -- accepting reservations for 2010.
